Atta Kid!

Chores, points and rewards — for families.

Terms of Use

Last updated 17 September 2026

Atta Kid is made in California by Chen Yao — “we”, “us”. By using the app you agree to what is below. If you do not, please do not use it — and if something here is not what you expected, write to [email protected] and tell us.

Who may use it

Atta Kid is set up and run by an adult. You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and you must be the parent or legal guardian of the kids you add, or have their guardian's permission. Kids use the app through Kid Mode on a device an adult hands to them; they do not hold accounts of their own.

Your account

You sign in with your Apple Account. Keep the device and the parent PIN to yourself: anyone holding both can award and take away points. The PIN protects the kid's side of the app from the kid — it is not a security product, and we cannot recover it for you.

What the app is, and is not

Atta Kid is a way to agree on chores and keep score. Points are a number between you and your kid. They are not money, they have no cash value, we do not hold them, and they cannot be exchanged for anything outside the deal you make at home. Whether a reward is given is entirely up to the parent.

ATTA AI writes suggestions. It can be wrong, and it is not advice from a teacher, a doctor or a therapist. Read what it says before you act on it.

The paid plan

Atta Kid is free to use, and an optional plan called Super unlocks more kids, more rewards and the rest of it. Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple through your Apple Account, renew automatically until you cancel, and are managed in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your device. Refunds are Apple's to give; we will help you ask. Prices and what each plan includes may change, and we will say so in the app before a change takes effect.

What we ask of you

Your data

A family's kids, tasks, points and photos live on your devices and in your own iCloud. We do not keep a copy. What that means in practice — and the little that does reach us — is set out in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.

Our part

We do our best, but Atta Kid is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, and we do not promise it will be available without interruption or free of mistakes. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

You keep everything you write in the app. You give us only what we need to run the app for you — storing it, syncing it and showing it back to you.

Ending it

You can stop at any time by deleting the app; deleting it removes what is on that device. We may suspend an account that is being used to attack the service or to harm a child.

Changes

If we change these terms we will update this page and the date at the top, and say so in the app when the change matters. Carrying on using Atta Kid after that means you accept the new terms.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law rules, and the courts of California are where any dispute is settled — unless the law where you live gives you the right to your own courts, in which case it does.
